UCoPA's mission is to further the cause of Ultimate Frisbee in and around Palo Alto, California, USA. Our main current event is a lunchtime game on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at Greer Park, Palo Alto, California. Assemble at the north fields, corner of Bayshore & Amarillo — click here for directions.

If these fields are closed, move to the south fields, near the corner of Bayshore & Colorado. If perchance these fields are also closed, meet at Seale Park — click here for directions to Seale Park.

Our Game

Arrive by 12:15, ready for the first pull at 12:30. We play until at least 2 pm., sometimes later.

We usually have enough players for two games of seven-on-seven, and we often warm up with a game of 4-on-4 goaltimate.

FYI, there is a largely beginner group that meets at Greer Park on Tuesdays & Thursdays. Meet at 12:00 sharp and play until exactly 1:00. Ann, the group organizer, wants to keep the game friendly and accommodating to beginner level-of-play.

Other Bay Area Ultimate Games

The Wednesday-evening-during-daylight-savings-time game at Rengstorff Park in Mountain View, now in its 22nd year and now having second generation players that the aging bulls with heaving chests are forced to try to run down, is a very friendly mid-level game. We don't keep score, we don't stall-count, and the field is not quite regulation size. We play from 6:00pm until the light fails. Feel free to come out and check us out some Wednesday evening, or hop onto the mailing list / Yahoo! Group.

Saturday, Gunn High School. 12:15-2:00. Mid-level.

Sunday, Roble Field, Stanford. 3:30-5:30. Mid-upper.

Tuesday-Thursday Greer Park, 12:00-1:00 (sharp). Mid-level.
